Cranberry Township
Cranberry CARES (Compassionate Asperger’s parents Reaching for Enrichment and Support)

CARES is a Western PA support group for families of children with Asperger’s Syndrome(AS), and other Pervasive Development Disorders(PDDs). Serving the Cranberry Township and surrounding communities in Allegheny, Beaver, and Butler counties, our support network welcomes parents, professionals, families, and friends. Although we do not focus on adults with AS, we do have adult members who have AS and/or have a partner with AS. We are open to discussion concerning AS and adult relationships.

Cranberry CARES is an information sharing network for all those interested in Autism-Spectrum Disorders such as AS, HFA, and PDD. We hold support group meetings twice every month. Speakers cover a variety of topics including (but not limited to) school, home, legal matters, and research.

Also, CARES is comprised of compassionate members who are great listeners...available to those who “just need to talk to someone”. Children are welcome. Baby-sitting services may be available in the future.
