GRASP: Global and Regional Asperger Syndrome Partnership

We sponsor four support groups for adults and are moving rapidly towards more as we expand nationally from the NYC area. Currently, we run monthly groups for adults on the spectrum in Southern New England, Long Island, Philadelphia (newly forming) and our Manhattan/NYC group meets three times a month. Regrettably, our only parents support group is a closed-off one but we hope to have an open parents support group soon.

GRASP is a large, financed non-profit that is not only serving as an educational and advocacy organization for individuals on the autism spectrum (adults with AS, HFA, and PDD) it is run BY adults on the spectrum. As per our bylaws, 50% of our Board, 100% of our Advisory Board, and our Executive Director must be diagnosed on the spectrum.
